Runway raises $35M Series B

We are excited to announce that we raised a $35 million Series B led by David Cahn and Caryn Marooney of Coatue with participation from all of our existing investors: Amplify Partners, Lux Ventures, and Compound. We are thrilled to welcome David and Caryn to the Runway team. They bring unparalleled expertise in product-led growth and go-to-market, especially in the video space in many companies we respect.

We believe content creation and video editing is being massively transformed by machine learning and democratized even further by the power of the web. We are excited to double down on our mission to help more people tell stories with video by bringing automation and more magical tools to video editing.
